In 45 minutes I had a complete Linux syste, My printer doesn't work though because the manufacturer won't release drivers. I still can't get sound although I'm making progress. Who needs sound anyway? My video card is stuck at 800x600 60hz but I have a new xorg file which should fix that. My laserscribe CD doesn't seem to work correctly. I never use that anyway. Finding Linux systems on any of these companies websites is an excercise in frustration.
