Tracking files

Hi

 

Is there a good way to track files on a Windows filesystem??

 

I know that one can look at the Journal or hook into the events generated,

but unfortunately many applications created a temporary file and when data

is saved the original file is deleted and the temporary file is renamed to

the original name.
