Know how to use Google? Well go there and look under More then groups

and see ALL my posts. I've made hundreds of posts answering questions

from everything on how to set up Explorer with different columns, to

file permission, to all kinds of general questions.

Your own bias is showing. You seem pissed because I can FACTUALLY

document what's wrong with Vista. Hint: That what these newsgroups are

for. They aren't for fanboys to sling mud.

Well in this group all you do is stomp you feet and rant on and on about

nothing.

Try being some help sometime.

When you selectively read and ignore much of what is said it is easy

to see why you come to your conclusion.

My conclusion about your constant heavy handed brow beating of posters

is clear enough for anyone to see. Pity you don't see yourself how

others see it you. You're a disgrace to the MVP program. I doubt I'm

the only one that has that opinion.

I have seen no complaint, except those a about you and your ilk.

"constant heavy handed brow beating"

You should really read your own posts Adam.

You do so much of what you complain about others doing.

Projection from Adam again.

Look for it yourself. I read lots of his posts and even though he gets

pissed at stupid users, when he talks about an issue or problem, he is right

on the money. No BS'ing around, tells it like it is. The MVP fanboys would

never go against MicroSquish. Their mama's would spank them silly.

I have looked for myself I have not found a single post in this group that

isn't a rant on and on about some thing he sees a MAJOR problem

Not a single post on how to actually fix some problem someone is having.

So show me where all these "lots of his posts" are? Ok just 5, or maybe just

one?

Grow up. If you aren't part of the solution (i.e. helping someone) then you

are part of the problem.

Hi Lang,

I was in this thread and I was trying to explain, based on my understanding,

to JJ about Steve's comments, which I also shared in my views.

I dislike Vista and I know my own reasons but I have better things to do

than trying to influence others' decisions and/or to bash those who like it.

Sometime, I shared my reasoning just for reference, but I don't recall that

I have ever attacked anyone who likes this OS.

Thanks.

But that is not Vista per say is it. A whole raft of photos took seconds to

go from desktop to laptop on my network and to a friend on the other side of

town.

Some work and other don't. Its not Vista its the set up that some folks have

and some don't.

Anyone who builds computer knows you test run it on a well know older system

before you venture a new interface. Anyone with over 1m files and 200 apps

needs his appetites controlled because all that just slows everything down

and you can only use about one eighth of want you have there.

If you are one who tries every darn thing on the block and then it don't

work why blame Vista.

Most home users have about 32,000 flies, That is combined program and

personal files on their computer. Some have a sight more, some less.

Personal files often only make up about a few Mg only. These folks are the

bulk of people who come here for help. They have bought a new computer with

Vista pre installed or decided to upgrade.

My view is that upgrading at the cost of Vista is just not worth it. MS

warns that some older software and hardware will not work with it so why not

wait till you go for that new computer with Vista up and running.

People here who are running businesses or corporations would be advised to

avoid Vista and stick with Windows Server 2000+.

Most questions are from home users who do not want arguments over what they

should have bought or what Pres Bush is up to, they want ready advice and

possible answers.

How many times do you have to be told you're not posting to a "list"

before it penetrates your cement block skull?

You're posting to a newsgroup. Write it down so you don't make an ass

of yourself again.

What is a newsgroup but a list blockhead, both are just discussion groups.
