Technet Download - Cals

I want to start learning about Windows Server 2008 by downloading it from my Technet subscription.

 

Before I buy a new server to install it on, I want to check what CALs, if any, are provided. Will I be able to connect to the server from two home PCs without having to purchase anything further?

 

It seems to me that there must be CALs provided to enable evaluation of the product otherwise what would be the point of making it available via Technet, but I want to be 100% sure.
