According to Webster's they in part define the word "general" this

way:

Involving, applicable to or affecting the whole. Not confined by

specialization or careful limitation. Generic and dealing with

universal rather than particular aspects.

So that infers windows.vista.general is a open forum where ANYTHING

even remotely dealing with Vista is on topic INCLUDING all it's warts,

flaws and shortcoming plus comments on alternatives, prior versions of

Windows and so forth.

The only reason some doofus like you doesn't like people pointing out

Vista failings or comparing it to other operating systems or even

older versions of Windows is doing so makes Vista really look bad

which obviously bunches up your shorts something awful.
