Sounds like a good idea. Pirates are whining about it, it must be

working.

What should they have done? Copy protected DVDs? Been there,

doesn't work. Hardware Dongles? Been there, doesn't work.

Ah yes, the old chestnut "I am enslaved to Microsoft". What a load of

rubbish.

This isn't a list. You're posting to a newsgroup, if you realize it or

not. People that take the time to point out what's wrong with a

product and offer offer workarounds aren't trouble makers, they're

providing a public service.

People that are easily brainwashed, seems to describe you, often are

clueless Microsoft apologists and gladly accept lame excuses why

Microsoft in over twenty years of trying still hasn't been able to

give the public an initial release of any version of Windows that

wasn't flawed in several areas, desperately needing patches, fixes and

major rewriting which happens six to nine months later in some service

pak. Sorry if reality isn't your thing. Now I return you to your

fantasy world.

That *is* the reality. Normal people accept it.

> Now I return you to your fantasy world.

The fantasy world is trolls like you who expect huge, complex software

packages (such as an OS) that must run on thousands of hardware

configurations all around the world to be perfect and bug free on

initial release.

To anyone who has ever written/tested/marketed/supported *any* software

at all, you know this is simply not possible.

No Mike.. we dont want perfection...

but we DO want something very very very very good!

MS COULD pull it off if there is some company in the world that can.

They had money, they had the time, they had the talent....

But they didnt and mostly because of internal structural problems in the

company

and bad leadership. Im not saying that its the average programmers fault

that works in MS that was the reason it sucks so much. Who was in charge of

this fiasco?????

MS blew it with vista.... it could have been fantastic! But its just

Crapista!

My experience, people that claim they have no issues with Vista use

their computer for little more than a decoration on their desk. People

that actually use a computer in a serious work environment have

reported many verified issues with Vista.

I back up your experience with mine and what you say is 100% correct!

They are using it either for a very limited number of things or using it as

decoration as you say. Other than that.. its a jungle out there and vista is

falling apart!

We have that. We have Vista now, and the "superb" XP before it.

I don't know what those abbreviations stand for. We have some

custom software interfaces to medical devices developed for us

years ago. Under Vista, they continue to work fine.

Henry, alias does not have Vista installed so he has no real "seat time"

using it.

He's a lying linux troll and has no creditability at all.

Pay no attention to him.

You have that backward, junior. A troll comes into a Vista newsgroup to

badmouth Microsoft and Vista and preach some other OS. Sound familiar?

Allow me to introduce myself. My screenname is KristleBawl and I don't have

any problems with Vista, and I not only don't hate it but I'm honestly quite

fond of it.

Spread your hatred somewhere else. People come here to get help solving

Vista issues, or to help others solve their problems, not to listen to a

bunch of whiny wannabees cry in their Gerber's because some third-party game

won't run on Vista.

WHAAAAAAHHH!

All versions of Windows, without exception, ended up in what I call

Public Beta before they were ready for prime time. You are a public beta

tester and, what's ironic, you paid MS for the privilege and, even so,

you will be accused of piracy by Vista until you prove otherwise over

and over and over again.

Microsoft would just as soon you didn't know.

WPA: Windows Product Activation

WGA: Windows Genuine Advantage

DRM: Digital Rights Management.
