One little thing you forgot when you were putting this theory to rest. A

car, a house, or a motorcycle don't need to continually call back to the

seller and make you verify that you bought said item.

So which parts of your post should we believe, do you have a "Genuine

Windows" hologram stamped on your packaging? AFAICT you are 50% likely

to be one of the "Other idiots online".

Your lame argument is that I haven't installed Vista. Do you think I

can't read? Do you think I don't know people who have installed Vista?

Your desperation at reaching for straws with this is obvious.

They both are and if, one fine day I find out I prefer PCLinuxOS for a

change of pace, why the hell not? The data gets backed up no matter what

OS is being used. That said, I prefer the Ubuntu GUI and feel to

PCLinuxOS, but that's just a matter of taste. Both are good and far

safer to use on line than Windows.

What's true today will not necessarily be true tomorrow. Time will tell.

Who knows, Someone like Google might put out a killer Open Source OS and

market the hell out of it with no WPA and WGA and put everyone out of

business. The time is ripe now, though, with Vista, because MS pushed

the envelop way too far. People don't like asking the vendor permission

to use what they paid for.

But what you refuse to understand is that people IN THIS NEWGROUP prefer the

Windows GUI and feel, but that's just a matter of taste.

Not all of them. Some seem down right angry, frustrated and confused.

Wait til the masses really buy their new computer with Vista, being as

this group is, by default, configured in Windows Mail. You didn't see

MS fanboys are starting Linux threads. Must be the "new" thing: safe

computing.
