Of course there are not two or three like us but millions already enjoying

Vista. Lots of people who come to list like this either have difficulties

with whatever system they use or are just finding one aspect of a new system

a problem. Of course there will always be the trouble makers who want to

I have Vista on three machines, and have been using Vista regularly

for over a year. Vista is stable and works good.... but so did XP.

What are you doing that is amazingly better/faster in Vista?

for XP, and there's Copernic, Yahoo Desktop Search, Google Desktop search, too.

Sidebar? Please, there are a few free alternatives for XP that do the exact

same thing and better. Prettier graphics is about all there is to the "wow".

Now its guilty and you have to prove you are innocent many times a year!

 

Vista is very aggressive and it calls home way too much... more than XP.

Now I understand why so many people made a fuss with activation on XP.

Because it opened the door to all this crap....

 

And now you know what MS said? They will enable the same activation

technology for other 3rd party products! So if they hurl all the industry

into this stupid anti-piracy strategy...

they wont have that many fingers pointing at them alone!

 

This is sick and this is NOT the way they should have countered the effects

of piracy.

 

Piracy is not good no.. but monitoring the use of software like this is far

far far far far worse! FREEDOM above all.
