Posted March 13, 201014 yr I have crtaeted an MMC console using mmc at run utility and named it as Security9 After creating mmc when I save it, by default its saved in the path "Desktop\Administrator\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administartive Tools\" When I go on start menu and click on "Administartive Tools", I dont see Security9 in the option list. Then I checked path for this "Administartive Tools" and this path was "c:\Program Data\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools\". So I saved Security9 under this path manually and now I can see it in the list of "Administrative Tools" Whats the difference between path of "Administrative Tools" where console is saved by default and the path where I had to save it manually in order to see it in the options list ? Why are there two "Administrative Tools" folders ? What do I need to do in order to save the console in the path "c:\Program Data\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Administrative Tools\ " by default ? What effects will it have on other operations when I make such a change ? Please explain.
