What has any of that to do with Canon or HP not producing Vista drivers for

product lines that are nearly 6 years old.

I will rephrase slightly.. producing basic drivers for product lines nearly

6 years old, but no 'control' utility.

If Canon, HP, Creative et al continued to produce full feature drivers for

product lines ad infinitum, they would go out of business unless they

charged big bucks for the software.

If you had done a bit of research you would know that in almost all

cases the XP drivers will work just fine. NOT in ALL cases, but most.

i agree Vista sucks. From the marketing campaign, you're lead to believe

that Vista would be the easiest and most powerful version of Windows to date.

as an MCP win2000/NT, i loved windows for its stability and vast

capabilities compared with other OSs i totally against OSX as an unworthy

alternative.

now, with Vista, my experiences are very fustrating not only do some 3rd

pty apps not work right (like HP MFPs and Paperport 11), but Vista own

features are buggy. I use Media Center with xbox360 extenders and it doesn't

work right. MCE2005 worked perfectly.

the point is, as the sophistication grows, the user interaction should be

more fluid and less prone to operation issues. but instead, Vista is a much

bigger headache for users while Mac OSX continues to add more features for

less money. as of the latest version of OSX, this ex MS fanboy can no longer

advocate and can no longer recommend MS to friends and family. even with my

experience and dedication i can't get Vista to work right, i could not in

good conscience inflict Vista on others.

No it doesn't.

It is. You just need to learn the in's and out's of it. It is different

than XP. It is not XP + eye candy.

So? What has changed in that regard?

PaperPort 11 works just fine on the Vista Ultimate boxes we have it

install on.

But it's not MS's fault that old software is not compatible. 3rd parties

must make their software compatible with Vista.

but Vista own

I don't have xbox but MC works perfectly on all of our Vistas.

So have you ever tried to list the exact problem(s) you're having?

Or are you completely lost when it comes to Vista?

Not only vista sucks, but FRANK that posts as FB or fb also sucks as much as

vista...

you can imagine when frank combines his stupidity with a vista computer how

much it sucks... lol

Well, yes, true Frank-o, seems as you are wrong again.

Tell me if you will, where I can by a full retail version of Vista, with

ALL features, for $129 ?

Or better yet, where can I buy a Vista 5-pack license for $199 ?

Those are the OSX prices:

Well, dan-o, I don't assume that the features of OSX are the same as the

as the features of Vista Ultimate.

Of course it is Frank. You're easily deceived because you're just a

moron that gulps down any Microsoft marketing hype without ever asking

questions, like their failed WOW campaign. That was a hoot! I bet

Frank was expecting to have multiple orgasms with Aero. Well Frank

fess up, were you impressed with the cheesy transparency effect?

>So have you ever tried to list the exact problem(s) you're having?

So some sap like you can make smart ass comments like you're a drunken

pig, capin' crunch, fly a cardboard spaceship or you lying somebody

can't install Vista therefore they must an idiot campaign you've been

running for over a year?

That's your speed Frank, some old fart that acts like a juvenile

delinquent with a IQ under 60 that's always out of control and is

closer to some not yet potty trained six year old having one temper

tantrum after another. We got you pegged Frank. You are what you are.

Just a idiot, loser, whiner and of course Microsoft apologist.

I don't know, I don't have OSX, but I'm sure it's very similar.

Is this your typical response when you can't provide an answer ?

How about this, you google and give me a link. I gave you a link proving

that OSX is less expensive than Vista. You say it's not. Now provide a link

showing Vista at a lower price....but you can't. Your talking out your

frank again.

I bet Apple is damn glad Frank uses Windows and not a Mac. Imagine the

damage he would to in their "support" groups. The idiot doesn't know

it but I would wager he single handedly has turned off hundreds if not

thousands of potential buyers of Vista with his non stop ranting and

raving like a loon.

You have no money with which to bet, do you mr drunken lying pig? You've

been unemployed/unemployable for the last 20 yrs.

Please don't use your welfare funds to gamble. It's illegal.

Isn't that what you just did?

I don't work for you.

I gave you a link proving

No, you gave me a link that shows some prices for OSX at an Apple store.

Not comparative pricing with Vista. Anyway a dollar for dollar

comparison of the two is misleading. Only a comparison of features is

meaningful.

Maybe you get what you pay for?

You say it's not. Now provide a link

Try google.

Frankly, I've lost interest in this matter. It's boring me.

You can keep beating it if you desire, as I no longer care.

As far as I am concerned, you should have no access to a computer, and

you should be strapped-up in a straight jacket.
