Guest PJ Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 I am trying to run DotNetNuke (an ASP.NET 2.0 based content management system) on a Win2003 development machine, but I think I may have some sort of problem with permissions. I'm not really sure if this is a DNN issue, but more likely something I have misconfigured in Win2003. The install of DNN went fine, but the performance of the DNN install is extremely slow on the LAN, but apparently fine from outside. When I work on the site on the Win2003 machine the performance is still slow on my user account, but it runs fine on the machine's Administrator account. I'm not really a Win2003 admin expert, so I am not really sure where to look for this. Is it possible to have some sort of performance problem based on permissions? I gave my user account full rights to the directory that holds the DotNetNuke files, but it seems that only the admin account is not having the LAN problem I would be grateful for any pointers. Quote
