Makes sense to me, Ms. Francis.

With MS's NTOS line, upgrades have been mostly adding new crap to the old

crap, and reskinning the old crap.

It's the same with Linux. The difference being I keep more of my hard

earned money with Linux.

It's about the money, stupid. Who do you want to have your money, you or

the known corporate criminal, Microsoft?

It's kinda liberating, once you get yourself off of the MicroJunk. It's

analogous to beating an addiction.

Don't bother replying that I'm stupid, just because I want my money more

than I want to give it to MS for repolishing the same turd. Of course

your best bet would be to run away, though personally I'd enjoy once of

your mental patient tirades! :-p

Try running Office, Adobe CS3, any Corel software., etc...the list is at

least a mile long.

Who do you think you're fooling?

Certainly not those of us who use the major software releases on Windows

and who have been testing linux for over a decade.

Either you're brain dead or just fukkin stupid!

Frank

oh and please spare me the "linux has comparable" bullsh*t cause it doesnt.

--------

Who do you think you are fooling.

OpenOffice can replace MS-Office, and without the need for license keys and

and a second install. Comes with the OS.

Adobe, OpenOffice can save PDF files so no need there.

For Corel, nothing there that isn't already included in Linux. While some

specific products like Corel Painter-X might be more polished, I don't see

your average users parting with $419 for it.

So the question remains, what can Vista do for the normal user that Linux

cannot do?

They don't call home if you aren't connected and I use my laptop all the

time without being connected. I don't think I am the only one. Why would MS

care if you didn't use Vista for a day? Do you think they panic if your pc

is off all weekend because you are out of town? What about when offices are

closed for the weekend? They don't get paid every time you turn on your pc,

they get paid when you purchase the OS.

I've been using Linux as my primary OS on my main computer, though I do

Frank, they are only OSs, not the Holy Grail, the cure for cancer, or the

Second Coming.

Why are you so closed-minded, Ms. Francis? Were you molested by a

Yeah, I guess that people that labor for their money don't count to you,

Ms. Francis.

Got any more irrelevant, stupid statements to make?

What in the world does that have to do with anything?

But that's just me.

Obviously!

I don't keep paying the MS tax for incremental & sometimes useless change.

I want control of my computing experience, and don't want to be told I

can't do something by a known corporate criminal with a consumer product

I purchased with my hard-earned money.

But if you enjoy bending over on the command of Microsoft....whatever

gets your rocks off, Billy. Some people are genetically wired to be

someone else's b*tch. You cannot fight your nature, Billy.

Not because of Ms. Francis' volunteer service to MS.

I think most people know why MS is a multi-billion dollar company, shady

business practices.

LOL! I rather be free and stupid, than to be a 'ho of a 'ho.

Huh? Would you like to try again? And this time try to be coherent.

Much more than a toy.

Did you hear about the guy that clustered a bunch of PS3's running Linux,

to create a black hole simulator? Try do that with the real toy that is

Anal Vistula.
