PDC Emulator FSMO role transition

Due to network upgrade our DC with the PDC emulator role will need to

transition the FSMO role to a DC in another site. My question is this, will

this:

1) Break the 2 way trusts established for legacy domains?

2) Can WINS be simply pointed to the other site for name resolution?

3) Are there any other caveats that I am overlooking.

Any input is greatly appreciated.
