Posted July 17, 200717 yr I have used Easy Transfer Companion, now on a total of 3 systems. This last time, on 7/15/07, it transferred some programs that were not 'checked' to be transferred. Ok I can delete most of them. One of them, is a Microsoft product... Plus Pack for XP. I cannot uninstall it (it starts to uninstall, and then starts the speech recognition setup dialog--- go figure). I need someone to help me with the registry edits to expunge this program. XP Plus is no longer a supported program, and definitely doesn’t belong on Vista, so I need some help. I cannot locate any way to contact the developers of Easy Transfer Companion. I know it’s still in beta, that’s great because it still needs work. In another transfer it transfered an old copy of the APC UPS support software that APC provided the needed instructions to delete, so that I could install the current version. In another transfer, things worked 'ok' some issues with ActiveSync that I needed to work out.... Anyway, I need help with the XP PLUS on Vista expunge.
