My taskbar is dark grey but see thru - like window tinting. You know,

glass and all. The band at the top of the window is dark blue.

Again, if you actually installed Vista you would see that.

You obviously are not running a color calibrated system like we are. Let

me rub your stupid nose in your loser arse about that. And about Vista

certification and about the fact that you can't even get your own

computer to run properly.

I throughly enjoy booting your obviously drunken, ignorant arse all over

this ng and you must like it also as you keep coming back for more.

Thanks for the fun, I do enjoy it so much!...hahaha.

I can just picture Adam and Alias watching the sunset and singing

Kum Ba Ya

Kum ba ya, My Lord, Kum ba ya.

Kum ba ya, My Lord, Kum ba ya.

Kum ba ya, My Lord, Kum ba ya.

Oh Lord, Kum ba ya.

Some one's crying Lord, Kum ba ya.

Give them Ubuntu Lord, Kum ba ya.

Some one's shouting Lord, Kum ba ya.

Give them Ubuntu Lord, Kum ba ya.

Kum ba ya, My Lord Kum ba ya.

Yep. Unbuttoned Linux is clearly their religion.

Fine! Just don't tell anyone who knows anything about color that's it

black (cause it's not) and you'll be good to go.

To avoid another dozen rounds of 'is too', 'is not' with Frankie I'm

not going to comment on the color's hue other to say it isn't the

value Frankie claims.

I can understand how some people may view it as near black. How dark

it is depends on a whole host of factors not the least of which is

what equipment and platform you view it on. I don't have any Linux box

set up right now so I don't remember if their Gamma setting is

different than for PC boxes like it is for Macs. That obviously can

make the colors seem darker or lighter then somebody else viewing the

same image on another platform.

As we both know our little Frankie doesn't deal it facts, he only

tries to spew his half-ass opinions and wild eyed assumptions which

more times than not are far from the underlying truth.

As far as RGB values those can be skewed in several ways including an

improper calibration of your monitor if that's what Frankie was

looking at.

What Frankie refuses to realize is he's been caught lying his ass off

on so many topics nobody accepts anything he claims at face value and

his creditability is at zero. That's his fault, not yours or mine. -)

More poof Mike is just another clueless fanboy that blubbers out crap

without thinking. I've said many times in different threads I don't

use Linux, but have sampled 7 different versions over the years. If in

your tiny little mind that makes me worship a flavor of Linux I

haven't even tried that makes you a nut case I guess. -)

I never said it was black you clueless horse's behind. In fact I went

again trying to stand up another of your pathetic Strawmen.

All of you have missed the point. Someone said Ubuntu's brown theme

looked like sh*t. I said that the black, or dark gray looks like

constipated sh*t and Frank, as he always does, changed the subject to if

it's black or not.

I think there are more computer savvy people in Europe. For the USA, you

What color is it? I see a black task bar. I see black bars on the tops

of the windows. Here is proof from the horse's mouth. The theme is black

and blue, which is even more constipated than brown.

Many computer shops in Spain will be happy to build you a computer to

suit with any flavor of Linux that your little heart desires. If you

insist on Windows, even Vista, they will install that too. They aren't

doing this based on my advice but it seems to be a sound business

practice to me, judging by how quickly these chains are growing. Now,

you go buy yourself an HP, Packard Smell or Dell at Best Buy like most

Americans do and revel in your ignorance.

LG Flatron 17" CRT.

Fact is you hopped on this because you didn't like the fact that black

sh*t is worse than brown sh*t so you changed the subject to whether it's

black or not. Do you even realize that?

AGAIN, what color do you think it is?????!!!!!

That's WMP, not Vista.. It looks the same on XP. Does XP have a black

UI?

Again, if you would simply install Vista you might have some idea of what

you are talking about. Which would certainly be novel.

After reading the portion of this whole thread on vista's color, and not

having a horse in this race, I can say with certainty that vista has

black in it. I don't care how any one else tries to define the color I

see, but the color is black. Carry on (and there is no doubt all of you

will do so). lol
