Yes, because it's a piece of crap. Funny how I had no problems installing

BeOS in VPC. Or OS/2. Or red Hat Linux.

Freedom from WPA, WGA, viruses and malware. Not to mention the fact that

Ubuntu doesn't require the hardware horsepower that Vista does. And,

Ho hum. I have played with Vista, installed. It's a eye candied XP Pro

SE with a helluva lot of anti piracy crap and DRM crap. If MS would

realize that most people are honest and take that crap off and make UAC

reasonable, I would buy Vista. Can you say the same for Ubuntu? No, you

can't because your a lying bigot whose only goal in this newsgroup is to

insult and lie about people. Your posts have NOTHING to do with either OS.

But that's the point. Free is never as good as $. If it was it wouldn't

be free.

Let's reverse the situation. Let's say that MS has been giving away

Windows for free for the last 20 years, and in that time it managed to

barely scrape out a 1% desktop share. If you can't get people to use it

even by giving it away, what does that say about the product?

I have no problems with any of that. Besides, I get all my MS software for
