Only tweak I have done is add IDE to SATA adapters on the 2 Seagates as this

mobo only has one standard IDE controller. This is an OEM system, definitely

NOT top of the line. Run of the mill components. Exactly ZERO problems. No

BSODs, no driver issues, all my hardware, even the old stuff runs

flawlessly. I am networked to 2 XP Media Center PCs on my network. All

shares, and printer share works. Sees all systems on the network map. I pull

all my MP3's off my fiancés XP box on my Seagate 160GB external for Winamp,

QCD, WMP and SAM Broadcaster. As stated in another post...

 

At any given time during the day, except when updates reboot my machine, I

have open/running as a default:

 

2 mIRC bots in IRC, an instance of mIRC for my chat, Trillian, a couple of

sites in Firefox/IE, WLM for my NG stuff, Outlook for my email and calendar

stuff, either QCD or Winamp going. This doesn't count what I have running in

the tray, and my sidebar.

 

Now, add whatever else I may open. Bryce, Word, and my system is still fast

and responsive and stable as hell, and all this on a POS eBay Acer.

 

So now you were saying? Looks like one of the "creeps" just proved YOU

Inside, under the covers it looks like XP. Add some glass and rack full of

bugs it is repackaged XP. So why not allow us to revert to XP without

having to buy it again? OK, maybe SH for $10 and send us XP, XP MCE or XP

Pro or XP x64...

 

Jury is still out on if I am keeping this pig, have until April 6th to

decide. Trial license expires that day for a critical piece of expensive

software I must have. Fortunately my older version runs on XP and Linux

just fine.

based on the fact that they wanted their crappy integrated video

chipsets to be included.

You hit the nail on the head. Francis and his partner Mr. Yawner are indeed

stalkers. They have this *need* to continually follow us around and sniff

our butts. It's sad really how mental retardation can produce this kind of

behavior. Their justification for this nonsense is Vista promotion. In

reality they just expose themselves as being two very sick mentalfuks. I'm

sure that some Microsoft employees watching their behavior can only wince

in pain at the "promotion" their beloved OS receives from these 2 Pees.

What can be more hypocritical then these two demanding that this NG is

for "helping Vista users with their problems" while at the same time their

only contribution is endless stalking and talk of fuking sheep.
