I haven't had any trouble with Vista or SP1. It runs smoothly on my

machine. But all hardware is different. If you try to install Vista on a

machine intended for Win 95, well, you'll be disappointed. Vista is a

demanding OS that need's lots of processing power. It's a next

generation OS, so I'd say most of the people complaining are those that

upgraded older hardware. Oh, and as far as google goes, here's another

snippet:

Different google results:

I like windows vista = 11,400,000

I hate windows vista = 707,000

"I like windows vista" = 18,600

"I hate windows vista" = 11,400

You'll always see more posts of people with "problems" with Vista,

because people who have a smooth running system don't post for advice on

how to fix something.

How about using more common words.....(and dump the 'is')

vista sucks = 441K

vista garbage = 602K

vista junk = 683K

vista rubbish = 837K

There's even a vistaisrubbish.com !!!!

At least you wear your MSFT bias on your sleeve.

Most of Vista problems are due to:

1.) Making changes for the sake of change, not usability.

2.) Con-Artist marketing. Is Vista-Capable?

3.) We had to wait six and a half years for slower file transfers, UAC,

and 3D Flipbook?

MS's customers would have been better off if MS trashed Vista, and waited

to put out a true upgrade, instead of putting a fresh coat of lipstick on

an old pig.

But MS doesn't really care about its customers, only its bottom line.
