jonnyjii Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Hello Windows Server 2008 Members, I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise installed as Evaluation (expiration in 30Days) PC Specs: Processor: Core i7 RAM: 6GB DDR3 HDD1: 250GB running Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise HDD2: 8TB Running on RAID Mirror so comes to 4TB HDD3: 1TB for Temporary Storage I made a mistake when installed the Server 2008 R2 Enterprise that I installed it as an Evaluation and the biggest mistake I did is to run the 4TB RAID Mirror. Now my evaluation copy is about to expire and I am ONLY worried about the RAID Setup. I want to downgrade from Win Server 2008 R2 Enterprise to Win Server 2008 R2 Standard and I do not want to loose the RAID Setup. In addition, the RAID Setup has been done from the Server Disk Management, as Server2008 gives you that option. Is there anyway that I can downgrade without loosing my RAID Setup? If I do a fresh install of Server 2008 R2 Standard then I have to setup the RAID Again and while doing that the system will format the hard drive. ANY SUGGESTIONS, TIPS, TRICKS ??? Thanks A Lot in Advance. Quote
