Guest Go123 Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I have got an error when running a C++ (Visual Studio 6) program which calls a method (bolCheckInput()) from a VB 6 dll. The error is: "Unhandled exception in TestPassword.exe (RICHED20.DLL): 0XC0000005: Access Violation". The code portion in VC++ is as follows: _stsclsFInputPasswordPtr pPassword hr = pPassword.CreateInstance(__uuidof(stsclsFInputPassword)) switch (hr) { case S_OK: { VARIANT_BOOL password password = pPassword->bolCheckInput("Communication Server") pPassword.Release() CoUninitialize() return(password == VARIANT_TRUE ? TRUE : FALSE) break } When the vb dll is runing in debug mode, no error occurs, But if the dll is not running in debug mode, the C++ program would have this error when it is terminates. Any idea about this error? Thanks. I am running on Xp Pro SP2. Quote
