We're talking about health care here, Leythos, not spending money on

BMWs, yachts and Hollywood Hills mansions. Those are for the doctors.

You could be on the street at any moment. What's happening to a poor

person today could happen to you tomorrow.

I saw 54,000 downloads on one site in 30 days since it's undocumented

release.

On other torrent sites , 800 seeders and let's say 300 lechers,

'nobody is complaining' that it's not worth watching.

If people are willing to seed the movie in massive amounts of numbers,

on torrents, they are saying it's very much worth watching.

Oh, you want to talk about buffoons. Lets. The buffoon Bush patting

Browny on the back and telling him "good job" with bodies floating by

or the most moronic act of any US president in the country's history,

Bush just sitting there on stage with his thumb up his ass after being

told the country was under attack. Little Georgie with a dumb, scared

PLEASE tell me what the hell I'm suppose to do, I don't have a clue.

You pissed Moore showed that moment on the silver screen?

See Richie, FACTS always trump right wing fairy tales.

The U.S. does not have 40 million citizens without "health coverage."

At most, the US has 40 million citizens without health INSURANCE. Big,

really big, difference.

Of this 40 million, many don't need or want health insurance. A smaller

number choose to self-insure.

For 90% of Americans, the system works.

Comparisons between systems are often difficult because the demographic

groups involved can skew the results and opinions are often based on

ancedotal or one-off examples.

But two facts that come to mind.

There are more MRI machines in Seattle (pop: 563,000) than in all of Canada

(33 million).

45% of the physicians in the UK are foreign trained, vs. 5% in the U.S.

God forbid you never have an accident or an illness that incapacitates you and

you are unable to work due to NO fault of your own.

Racism, sexism, homophobia, religious discrimination, etc. prevent many, many

people from attaining their full potential.

You are a very shallow, unempathetic, and mean spirited little man.

I would guess that it's because they don't feel the need to work hard

enough to afford it, that they can always go the the ER because they

can't be denied treatment in an emergency, because the Left has pushed

that they deserve handouts and that you don't need to work for what you

LOL! Right, I guess you think Bush's Iraq war is working too. While

we're on that topic most estimates now show that Bush's Iraq war will

cost American taxpayers over a trillion dollars and that doesn't

include the cost to replace all the damaged or blown up equipment.

While I'm not for socialized medicine if a country can throw away a

trillion dollars killing people, it sure damn well can afford to offer

basic health care to it's citizens. It won't be free, but it may start

to rain in the out of control medical industry.

Have a MRI lately? They are insanely expensive. Why? Because the cost

gets passed to the insurance companies which you end up paying in

premiums or your employer does. Those needing a MRI that don't have

basic health insurance pay through the nose because the prices are

grossly inflated. Want to know WHY there are so many MRI machines and

CAT scanners in American hospitals? They are money making machines

that rake in huge amounts of cash for hospitals. Of course charging

$10 for an aspirin isn't bad either.

LOL, not really. Sure, I could be poor at any moment, but, unlike the

people you want to pay for, I would be working two jobs, working 7/d

week, etc... Most of those without insurance are without it because they

don't want to work for it or because they don't feel it's important as

I've been poor, very poor, and I worked my way out of it and don't

You were young then. If you were to get into a car accident and lose

both your arms and legs and the insurance company denied your claim,

you'd be very poor for a long time just paying the medical bills. Fate

generalizations about why people are poor is pathetic.

Don't forget the small percentage of people abusing the system by working

for *cash*, not paying taxes, and then claiming to be unemployed and still

getting ER treatment.

Let me guess, besides your other obvious character flaws I bet you're

a Rush Limbaugh ditto head too. Right?

Everyone needs to calm down and remember that some recovering alcoholics

like George W. Bush and possibly Leythos tend to see everything as good or

bad, black or white. That is the only way they can keep themselves straight.

It is kind of a primitive brain thing. They like to think they are self made

successes and have forgotten or ignored all the help they have recieved

and/or all the people whose lives they have trashed to get where they are.

Except for God, of course they have it right with God and he is on their

side. themselves.

I realize that the poverty stricken widow with 3 children, one of whom is

disabled, should have planned better and not given birth to 2 kids and a

disabled deadbeat who only want to suck off of society. But how was she to

know that her soldier husband would end up dead in Iraq? Now she thinks she

should have help paying for care for those kids. Ha! Don't be so lazy, lady.

Go get a couple of jobs. Don't worry about the kids they can take care of

themselves. The disabled one can be cared for by the other two.

And those 3 lazy little grade school kids that got pulled out of their

parents home meth lab. Who do they think they are, expecting to be fed and

clothed by the government? It is probably their fault their parents were

making meth anyway, trying to keep a roof over their heads and food on the

table. Put em to work. There are lots of jobs for kids these days now that

we are busting all the illegal farm workers.

Many people who have pulled their way up from poverty and crippling

adversity are able to recognise that they had a lot of help and are more

than happy to try and help others do the same instead of berating them for

being lazy.

It's sad that you think that anyone that believes people should be

required to be accountable for their own situation or that people that

CAN work should not be given money stolen from those that are working.

It's sad that you clearly don't understand that MOST POOR are not there

because of an auto accident that left them unable to do most work, it's

very said that you have to demean the incapable by lumping them in with

those that are capable but just don't want to work.

I was able to pull myself up from being poor because "I" wanted too,

because I didn't want to take handouts from the Government, because I

didn't want my kids to be at that level, because I was motivated. It's a

shame that you mock all people that have bettered their position by

saying they don't understand or have no compassion.

People that work hard to get ahead don't want to have their money stolen

by the government and handed out to those that don't work hard, and it's

people like you, mostly on the left, that feel we need to support those

that don't feel like working hard. If fully support and have compassion

for someone that tries and fails and keeps trying, but I have no

compassion for those that don't try and expect to be given.

The majority of the Poor Americans are poor because they choose to be

poor, it's that simple. There is nothing holding them back except their

own drive and the feelings provide by the Left to keep them oppressed so

that they can have votes.

Why does your type always pick out an extreme case, which has nothing to

do with the majority of the poor being discussed, and try and use that

to make your point when the example you use was clearly not part of the

discussion. Disabled and dead husband was never mentioned, which also

doesn't fit the majority of poor.
