My fun is watching you two picker-up to kiss each other's behind. Hey,

just make sure you both wash each other's behind and brush your teeth

before you picker-up and kiss each other's behind.

Cleanliness is next to godliness, and since you both are using Linux

thinking that your some kind of goddesses, you both need to be clean

while you both are doing it.

No, Mike is right as evidenced by the fact that the two plaintiff's who

filed the suit admitted they themselves were not victimized or mislead

by Microsoft. IOW's they're in it just for the money.

You, you're just a jealous, MS hating POS!

But we knew that already don't we.

You perfectly fit the definition of a real loser.

Stephan

When I lived in the UK and Spain, I drove sports cars too, lived for them,

great fun.

I live in Canada's snow zone presently, and it didn't take a fast track

course in rocket science to know that a Triumph TR6 or BMW M635 just wasn't

going to cut it on snow covered concession roads. I dive a Jeep Grand

Cherokee..

I would dispute that any person, regardless of technical knowledge,

seriously believes that a brand new $400 computer has the same capability as

the $2000 model sitting alongside it.

What I do believe is that many people want something for nothing, and when

they don't get it, they try to shuffle the blame onto others..

Some of the quotes are really quit revealing in terms of the attitude

towards end-users:

"Trying to 'educate' customers about features of an OS that is not available

may very well confuse them and may cause them to delay their purchase --

the exact opposite of what we want to see."

The above is saying that the *sale* is more important than the customer.

and:

"Less than 5% of customers typically upgrade OS," he said. "Let's not

confuse the masses for the sake of providing clarity to 'enthusiasts."

Which pretty much sums up the attitude Microsoft has to the "masses".

The "masses" just don't need nor can handle "clarity". It's quite alright

to leave the "masses" confused, as long as we make the sale.

Indeed this is not uncommon in big business. Actually, it is more the norm.

We witness this in all aspects of our lives where big business dominates

and is unable to see humanity as little more than an opportunity to profit

off them. It's what is driving our world to the brink of extinction.

Cheers.

Especially when confronted with a PC at BestBuy that had a sticker on it

saying "Vista Capable" or "Vista Ready" carrying a MS logo. But the authors

of the emails already tell us that their concern wasn't for "enthusiasts"

but rather for the 95% of their customers who aren't "enthusiasts" and that

the *sale* is the all important thing. So your point is what?

Cheers.

My point is that the consumer is ultimately responsible for ensuring that

the product is suitable for the purposes for which it will be used.

The matter is not if a $400 computer is as powerful as a $2,000 computer.

Yes anyone with at least half a living braincell is going to realize that

difference.

What many don't know though is *why* one is $400 and *why* the other is

$2,000. They only know one is "better" than the other but don't

understand the reasoning.

Now if both of those have "Vista Capable" stickers on them, and someone

just wants a new computer. Why would this person spend $2,000 when a $400

computer gives him the same thing with the same sticker? Remember, that

person doesn't understand the difference between the two computers.

To that person, both have the same sticker and are going to look equally

suitable which essentially in my opinion is what this whole thing is

about and where things become misleading.

Big business has ALWAYS dominated. While many innovations/inventions come

I could be wrong, but didn't the high end models have a 'Vista Premium

Ready' sticker on them?

You told us Francis that you *NEVER* click on links in a ng posting. Were

you lying? When will you stop lying?

Cheers.

As opposed to Microsoft, where money is the furthest thing from its mind.

Yeh, sure Francis. Any other fairy tales you want to tell us? More than

likely the plantifs won't receive any money, if they weren't "victims". But

maybe the courts will make MS pay out to those that indeed were victims of

MS's creative marketing? The courts will decide, certainly not YOU,

thankfully.

Of course in Francis' World, victims can go fuk themselves. The allmighty MS

deserves to screw consumers all it wants. Do you really advocate for Vista

users around here Francis, or are you just a mouthpiece for MS? Does MS pay

you? I know, a silly question. YOU do more harm for MS "respectability"

than any other poster on Usenet. That's why you've got the reputation as

being THE Usenet Village Idiot.

Are you really that stupid? I do not click on any links posted to any ng/s.

You seem like a newbie to me?

Being as you're running Windows, that's a good idea. Now, if you were

running a secure operating system like http://www.ubuntu.com, you wouldn't need

to be so paranoid.

How about making computer vendors and retail store policy answer to false

and misleading claims.. If that problem can be overcome, then anybody who

buys a product that they find they can't or do not know how to use, will

prove to the world that stupidity is alive and well..

Stupid sarcasm from an MS hating POS lying linux troll.

> Yeh, sure Francis.

No, not sure doris. You butt-fukkin loser.

Any other fairy tales you want to tell us?

Read the lawsuit you moron...if you can read.

More than

> likely the plantifs won't receive any money, if they weren't "victims".

Well duh!!! That's not the point you ignorant dipsh*t.

But

That is to be determined in court isn't it? You're a canadian beacon,

not an American. In this country we have a presumption of innocence.

The courts will decide, certainly not YOU,

> thankfully.

No sh*t sherlock!

Too bad you can't participate in the lawsuit right? You're too fukkin

broke to afford Vista...LOL!

You are the real definition of a lying POS linux toll.

>

> Of course in Francis' World, victims can go fuk themselves.

You don't speak for me so stop pretending that you do.

The allmighty MS

You're sick in the head!

Do you really advocate for Vista

> users around here Francis, or are you just a mouthpiece for MS?

If you've been here for any length of time you'd notice that I mainly go

after liars and troll...you and the few other losers who lie and troll

in this ng. I occasionally help. But I don't like to google for others.

Does MS pay

> you? I know, a silly question.

No, not silly just a stupid question.

YOU do more harm for MS "respectability"

You may think so but most others don't.

That's why you've got the reputation as

I'm smarter and wealthier than you'll ever be and you know it.

Boy.

I'll continue to expose you and your butt-buddies for the lying linux

You can run, but [sic] you can't hide.
