Processor utilization on Multi Processor Servers

Hi All

 

I've noticed that processes which would normally fully utilizes processors

like winzip or winrar etc. only utilizes the capacity of one (1) CPU in a

Multi Processor environment via Terminal Services.

 

If you log on to the console of a Terminal Services server, the process will

use all CPU's to almost 100% utilization. But through a terminal services

session it seems to be limited to use only one CPU.

 

Is this by design or is there a workaround / configuration to all a single

process to use more CPU power if available in terminal services?
