This morning (Sat. the 14th ) a response to my additional query for the

Kb928365 arrived. It confirmed that this Kb is associated with Net 2 and I

can make the choice to uninstall Net 2.

If you don't want to install the update KB928365, I suggest we remove .NET

Framework 2.0. If we don't remove .NET Framework 2.0, the update KB928365

will be detected and offered repeatedly. In addition, as other versions of

..NET Framework have similar function with .NET Framework 2.0, we don't need

to install it.

I would like to explain in order to remove .NET Framework components

completely, I suggest we remove all the versions of .NET Framework. If they

are necessary, we can reinstall them.

I just didn't have the extended time to deal with the downloads this past

week. The auto update was turned off after I deleted the original download

out of the software distribution folder. Since the other updates installed

properly for Net 1 there was a question in my mind after my first inquiry

regarding uninstalling and downloading everything. It appears doing so is a

a safeguard.
