Tack Posted May 15, 2008 Posted May 15, 2008 I download the trial version from Microsoft and burnt it on to a DVD. I put it inside the DVD drive and reboot the computer. According to Microsoft website, this should last 60 days and prolongation too is possible. It recognized and started installing very well. In the middle of the installation process, it prompted me to write a password. I wrote a password and it was accepted. Afterwards, I am forced to write the password again. It does not accept it. It says the password is incorrect. I reformatted the hard drive and try again twice. The same old problem arises. What shall I do? Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted May 15, 2008 FPCH Admin Posted May 15, 2008 Yes. You set the admin password during the install. Then you use it to login after install. You must not have wrote down the correct password or you have cap locks on. You have to use a secure password with number, letters and special characters for logging into Windows Server 2008. You more than likely didn't write down the one you used during install correctly. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
