Selling magazine subscriptions (or rather trying to) to neighbours isn't

quite a "company" Frankie Boy. Besides, when do you have time, as we know

your mommy keeps sending you out on the freeway to play?

Cheers.

The same thing over and over...."pea sized brain....lots of swearing....LOL

But you still think what you have to say is relevant to....ANYTHING

It isn't.

And that is all you will ever be able to come up with is...."pea sized

Frank, read some of your posts and it will become clear what a pathetic

clown you are.

Go ahead, read them.

Stay away from Ubuntu. Compiler does not work, system is crippled by poorly

written software.

I know. I tried 7.10 two weeks ago. Returned back to windows that afternoon.

Ubuntu is not ready for prime time .

billyg, look at the company whom you bought the laptop from. Download and

place XP drivers on a CD or flash drive, if any are available, that is. Look

under the drivers and support page. Locate your laptop's number.

If you have retail version of XP, you can use it to reformat. Follow the

screens. My DELL requires me to press F12 right after boot-up flash screen.

Depends on manufacturer.

Jim,

Just ignore him...the consensus is he's a jerk and doesn't know how to

behave in society. I've put about 5 people in the Microsoft.public.x.x

boards in the kill filter list and the rhetoric gets real civil and quiet.

You'll find 'em.

If you can't install XP, you can probably install Ubuntu, which is free.

Download and burn a live CD and then run it by setting your BIOS to boot

from the CD and check to see if you like it and if it recognizes your

hardware.

Get it at http://www.ubuntu.com/ and, of course, ignore anything Frank

says about this.

Funny, I have had it on two computers since November 2006 with no

significant problems at all. Maybe you're just not ready to spend more
