Of course you do. How many times have you called me and others idiots

and offered up the same threadbare cure all remedy used by all MS

bigots you didn't do a clean install, if you do, like magic all

problems go away. That the only song you know how to hum. Just once be

What a difference 24 hours can make. Yesterday Frankie was saying

problem with file transfers, what problem, I don't have any problems.

You crack us up Frankie. Ever consider auditioning for the Jerry

You consider 4 minutes less which works out to roughly 25% better

marginally faster? Now you understand why I laugh at what you guys

say. You always so biased you even skew your own facts.

You forgot to add in your experience. Others like oh, 900,000 that

have commented on this problem in countless newsgroups, forums and web

pages see different results. This again is what cracks me up with guys

like you.

This is basically how I view you: Problem, what problem, I don't know

what those people are talking about. Here's why:

It *is* marginally faster. Vista is not the "seriously broken" tripe

you have been spouting here for the last 3 days. It didn't take "an

hour" as someone else claimed, and then went on to say that Linux did

the same copy in 12 minutes! If I saw that kind of huge difference

then I would agree that Vista is "seriously broken".

Sure it can be better, no doubt about that. But it's clear you have

an agenda here, and that is to barge into a Vista support group and make

all kinds of wild eyed, unsupportable claims.

I'm done with this thread. I've proven you are an MS hating nut case.

Don't you ever stop lying Frankie? I'm simply DOUCMENTING the problem.

The funny think is I'm the one that did offer a partial fix and posted

here in the newsgroup back in April then recently updated it by

modifying permissions. The only way you try to score points assuming

that is your purpose is by shooting off you mouth and continuing to

post the same lie over and over. People have noticed.

I don't have to fix what isn't broken. You're such a klutz you keep

referring to the COMPUTER being broken you ignorant dunce. What's

obviously broken is Vista's file handling routine. Write it down so

you don't make a bigger ass of yourself next time you stick your foot

in your mouth. Vista is software, computers are hardware. See if you

can keep the two straight. Lots of luck, you'll need it since we all

known your mental capacity is somewhere between a stalk of celery and

a turnip.

lol...You moron. Referring to a computer refers to all of it's

components you sniveling drunken jackass.

Try running a "computer" without software. A computer is comprised of

hardware and software.

stupid arse loser.

You did it again Frankie. Software isn't a component. Software is

simply instructions that make the components in your computer do

something. In the case of Vista, an operating system, it provides

basic traffic control of what's going on. I'm using a very simple

explanation so nitwits like you have at least half a chance of

following along. -)

Oh? So everyone who works is a "dope" in your opinion?

Hahaha...that a really ignorant statement coming from a supposed genius.

If it's any of your business, I've worked since I was 12 yrs old and

will work until I'm unable to.

I throughly enjoy my work as it keeps me sharp and involved. I don't

work for money (I don't need more money) I work to be successful in what

I'm doing and for the feeling it gives me of being worth while. I've

signed on the front of the check since I was 23. I am my own boss. My

life is very satisfying and fulfilling.

Many can relate to what I've just said.

You know, I think I now understand why you said that your iq was 170.

You misunderstood the them (which is to be expected considering your

Actually, what they proly said was you're the one (1) with a 70 iq!

Hehe, well actually I like Vista and I like Microsoft products in

general, I think they have formed an industry standard that suits many

people and there's no doubt that the PC and MS together have brought

technology within reach of many who would not otherwise be able to

afford it. BUT when there are problems it is no use simply denying them

and neither is it any use saying a product is wonderful when it's full

of holes.

What no archiving Mikey? Gee too bad your post about "celebrating" the

death of a woman who died of breast cancer will NEVER go away.

Hehe, maybe it's your machine that's malfunctioning and 900,000 working

properly...

Seriously though that is interesting. I must leave this PC running a

task for about another 24 hours after which I may be able to re-test the

issue on the same hardware. To be honest I almost always used synctoy or

a product called filesysnc because the explorer copy always seemed to

get into trouble so it's not something I can claim much experience with.

hehehe...you don't actually think that 900,000 hits on google truly

represent 900,000 individuals having the slow file transfer problem do you?

Humm...interesting...cause all of our boxes are off line synced with

folders/files on our servers.

Frank's not the only person in this ng that claims a high IQ. Many obviously

intelligent people in this ng seem to revert to 3rd grade attitudes when

heat is applied. I don't doubt Frank's claim to being a Mensa member. Too

bad you have to take a shot at Frank and others at every turn. You have

exhibited the 3rd grade attitude yourself, with regular frequency.

Those who really have one, rarely claim it.

I most certainly do. He lies about everything else. Why do you think

he's telling the truth when bragging?

Occasionally being lied about by the likes of Frank gets to me and I,

too, reveal that I am human and prone to making mistakes. But, unlike

Frank, I try not to stoop that low.
