The same can be said about your obvious bias.

"wonderful"

Exactly where was this quote from?

I do not recall saying that and you have misrepresented others before.

Yes. How many files are you copying? Dozens? Hundreds?

Thousands? I ask because I copied a couple dozen files that totaled

3.75 GB and got nearly identical results in Vista and OS X.

Well...lets see...I never said the ones having the problem are liars yet

900,000 huh...gee that's large number georgie-boy!

You got that off google didn't you?

And you want everyone to believe that all 900,000 are from 900,000

individual Vista users woh have the same problem don't you?

Sure...we all believe that.

You know, we all also believe that minkies could come flying out of your

rectum at any moment, right?

Sober up!

Grow up...or just get lost!

Frank

"You still have yet to answer why you're always..."

You keep repeating that pointless irrelevant question.

And yet you say "Evasion of the issue."

It seems you are guilty of what you accuse again.

"Evasion of the issue. People are forced into purchasing high cost..."

No evasion at all.

Obviously no one is forced to buy any version.

Your own evasion is perpetuating the fantasy people are forced to

purchase when the purchase is entirely their choice.

The version purchased is also entirely the buyers choice.

"I would have had to give Microsoft even more money to get Ultimate."

Nothing at all wrong with that .

Similar to any product, not just technology or computers, you decide

what you want and then you choose whether to purchase at the price and

terms set by the seller.

Who made the choice of the version you bought?

"Just did"

Not even close.

"Only Microsoft"

That means exclusive to Microsoft.

Perhaps you need to "learn to improve your reading comprehension."

In order to prove your statement, you need to prove no one anywhere

does that with any product.

You can't prove the statement you make again.

"You don't "see" at all. That's the point. You never take over your

blinders."

You are speaking of your own ignorance.

You apparently have no idea what the prices are side by side on the

shelf.

I have looked, so I know.

Why do you post and not look?

"ROTFLMAO!"

You do that often when you are unable to prove your point.

And you talk about "Evasion of the issue".

"...biggest Microsoft butt kisser."

More of your name calling.

What you said about those that are name callers:

"Name calling, typical of ten year olds."

Does that mean you are a typical ten year old?

That is how you described someone who posts as you post.

Has nothing to do with wealth rather what you get for your money.

Vista is basically a upgrade with a new face and a handful of behind

the scenes improvements. Factor in the horrible file handling many

experience, the laughable and next to useless UAC, lacking driver

support, and bugs, bugs, and more bugs everywhere, sorry it isn't

worth the $200 I paid for it.

I think just over 1000 but to be honest I did not pay too much attention

because I was busy with something else and had never tried it before

with anything other than Windows. Had always "Assumed" (Yes I know where

that leads) that all systems would be about the same.

I will try this again as soon as I am able to, which is probably during

It also just happens that I agree with

You agree that he's too stupid to fix his one and only computer and I've

problems. He's like, your "leader" huh?

No and that's a lie and you know it. You're one of the linux fanatics

who inhabit this group for nefarious reasons and I give no quarter to

people like you. You have no business here unless you have a legitimate

install of Vista.

Adam, georgie boy, mr genius, has a bad habit of opening his postings

also stalks a couple of MVP's for no apparent reason.

I've currently got some spare time, so I'm "tracking" him and not

If you don't like it, too bad!

Frank

Not at all, no defense is necessary even though you think there is.

There you go again making assumptions.

"Priceless."

It is up to you if you choose to place value in the irrelevant.

Again it is noted you quoted me and FAILED to show where I said

Your continued misquotes of others show you need to feed your blind

They are there.

If you want to see them, go ahead and look.

I have no need or interest in defending myself. There is no relevancy

Most of all, there is no need.

I'm not following him around like a puppy, but is there a problem if I did?

Puppies are cute. I have been following him on this thread though, but just

for the sheer entertainment value. It also just happens that I agree with

him. You and the other MS drones are not very objective. You start

pouncing on people calling them trolls and other childish names when they

come with legitimate problems.

Dell and HP don't have any options for XP. Well, Dell does but only for a

select few of their high-end machines. There's always exceptions (eg local

computer shops) but the bulk of computers are not purchased there. So for

your average consumer there's not really a whole lot of choice.

Well, I've recommended a clean install rather than an in place upgrade.

Nobody wants to hear that. I know at first with the betas, we had a few

LAN problems but overcame those. I suggested to one other person take a

look at their LAN hardware and they got insulted so unless it's

something specific...and right now no one seems to know, then if I were

having the problem I'd try any and all suggestions.

Or if you don't have anything to offer why even bother

Search my name and you'll see I've helped many others in the past.

Recently no. I've been at war with the linux losers and other assorted

morons (and one genius!).

Then you're quite welcome here and sorry if I offhandedly insulted you.

Please forgive me.

I just have no patience for the linux loser trolls.

No, I agree that he's got a valid problem and you guys are pouncing over

him. Just because you and your 9 computers aren't having problems doesn't

make it any less real. I'm not experiencing it either, but there is ample

evidence that it is indeed a real problem. So rather than name calling why

don't you help? Or if you don't have anything to offer why even bother

posting? If he is indeed a troll then your posts are only feeding him.

I believe we've had this discussion in another thread. If it's a lie how

come it's the only type of posts I've seen coming from your keyboard?

>You're one of the linux fanatics

Far from the truth. I appreciate Linux but I am far too much of Linux

newbie to be a fanatic. I'm still very much a fan of Win2k (and to a lesser

extent XP).

> You have no business here unless you have a

> legitimate install of Vista.

That's the silliest thing I've heard in a while. Why's that? I do actually

have Vista installed but why can't some come here to learn about Vista? Or

something on the verge of upgrading coming to see what types of problems

they may encounter.
