I have nothing against Gates either and I don't think he looks like a

stereotypical nerd. The one whose looks and actions are scary is Steve

Ballmer, not Bill. He doesn't look like a nerd either. He looks like a

scam artist who specializes in selling used cars.

Are there *any* certain conditions that seem consistant ?

Did it work OK at one point ?

One more point here, while AlexB's "help" usually isn't (even

understandable), he is correct about the low amount of current that a USB

port can supply.

 

For many, adding a USB 'hub' that has it's own power adapter has solved

some USB issues. (I'm not saying this *is* your problem, I still don't

know what devices you are using.)
