In this case the post by the OP is clearly off topic.

By some definitions that is SPAM.

You can quibble over the words all you want.

But that does not change the fact the OPs post is inappropriate for

this newsgroup.

I agree, the OPs post is inappropriate for this newsgroup.

An off-topic post to a single newsgroup is not SPAM by any definition.

Nor does it change the fact that you're trying to be a net nanny and are

totally naive if you think the upcoming election won't find its way into

most newsgroups. After all, if McCain wins and we go into WWW III,

having a Vista problem will be the *least* of our problems.

Yet you try to Shovel Ubuntu down our throats! Go figure.

Calling others names, typical of you when you have no reasonable

response.

Those confident and secure in themselves have no need to bolster their

position by calling others names and other attacks.

Your need to call others names shows much of your own character and

says little of anyone else's.

The last line of your post is irrelevant and inserted for only reasons

known to you.

Perhaps to distract others from your own insecurities on the issues.

Pot/Kettle/Black

A common tactic of yours as well.

But I suppose it is OK for you to do what you disapprove of others

doing.

There is a word that applies when you do what you suggest others not

do.

Not down *YOUR* throat Bill Yawn. We already saw that you tried to install

Ubuntu, but couldn't figure out how to do it. You're a waste of time and

should just stick with Windoze. That toy operating system is made for you.

You deserve one another. Now go and defrag your Sea Drive, play

Minesweeper, update your anti-virus tools, purchase new hardware and

software that is "compatible with Vista", or whatever else you can find to

waste your time and cost you more money.

Cheers.

You certainly are an idiot and moron. Much like Kevin. I didn't try to

install Ubuntu, I did install Ubuntu. I just didn't want to mess with it.

Once I saw it, the system took you back about 10 years. I know Ubuntu is

probably all you need, so that's fine. Go play with Ubuntu and head on over

to the Ubuntu camp and help them out. Over here you are a pain in the ass.

Just like a boil on the ass of society.

You are the waste of time and probably sitting in Mommies basement using the

computer because you have no job, no prospects, no life.

Nobody forces me to read you idiotic posts, but they are amusing. Trying to

get people to move to Ubuntu and all you get are requests to go jump off a

bridge. Has anyone said, "Oh Alias, thanks for the info, I didn't know that

Ubuntu exists?" Don't think so. Probably 99% of the replies to your

moronic posts are "Go away, Troll." You just don't get it. AOL is crap so

maybe you should install AOL on your machine. Run Ubuntu and play with all

the applications, but all you do is use the browser or news client to post

dribble here.

We have you pegged.

Because Frank is trying to get Trolls like yourself outta here. You are

just a pain in the ass. If you look at the responses that you mostly get,

they are asking you to leave, but you don't understand that. Pretty simple,

but you don't grasp it. No wonder why you use Ubuntu. It is just up your

alley.

A Free product (Ubuntu) and nobody wants it. I wonder why? If Lexus or

Toyota were free, they couldn't keep them on the lot. If Windows was Free,

they couldn't keep them on the shelves. If Windows Office was Free, they

couldn't keep them on the shelves. See where I am going with this?

Probably you don't. Ubuntu is Free and they trickle out.

Take this to someone who can help you understand the concept.

Oh yea, Just FYI
