    I use both at home and at work and in fact they integrate almost

    perfectly, there is nothing I need to do at work (Or most of the time at

    home) that Windows can do but Ubuntu (Or Debian for that matter with the

    right settings) cannot do, and there is no gutted "Home" version of

    Ubuntu that has much useful stuff ripped out.

     

    You know what, all of our machines at work except one could be replaced

    by Ubuntu, in fact many are thin clients anyway, so at this point in

    time the workhorse is a single W2003 server. It's actually running

    proprietary software which of course could be rewritten for Linux so

    Bill's castle is really founded on one keystone that could be removed by

    one software rewrite.
