The_Witt Posted May 9, 2008 Posted May 9, 2008 Hello Everyone, I'm looking for a simple check list for the instalation, and deployment of Server 2008. I do know that a check list would depend on the exact usage for the server. I'm just looking for starting point. I haven't had any exposure to A server environment for about 4 yrs. And ten, only with Server 2003. T Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted May 9, 2008 FPCH Admin Posted May 9, 2008 Many things have changed in 2008 compared to 2003. The install and deployment, however, is much the same. Configurung the services is very different although IMO much easier. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
The_Witt Posted May 13, 2008 Author Posted May 13, 2008 I have found exactly what i was looking for on the Windows site. It is a set of instrcutions called "Foundation Network Guide" Not only does it give a check list, it gives a complete recommended setup and pre-planning ideas for deploying your Server 2008 network. You can find the download of this guide Here Thanks for all the help! And also thanks for the site! I have found lots of very useful information her. I hope that I will be able to contribute to the forms in some small way in the future. T Quote

virtualinfo Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 The first thing which surprised me was in the installation process because all you have to do is just answer the license Key and agree to the license and the installation went on its own. Now , discover the official release of Windows 2008 Quote
