Something new? Well Vista is the first OS in the history of M$ that

will be sold on new PCs well beyond its 1st anniversary. There must

be a reason that major PC companies are demanding that they still be

allowed to sell XP and I'll give you a clue, it's not that XP is

great.

Microsoft thrives on badly educated ignorant folk who are incapable of

critical and free thinking.

Vista is the result of this. And you are its user.

In all the new articles vienna is now refered to as Windows 7

you should read more.. the internet is full of people that absolutly hate

Vista, and are hoping that

windows 7 will be extreamly better.

I think MS knows that they cant withstand another flop so they are working

their arses off now to make a good OS.

Hrm.. let's see... Add an extra gig of memory. Buy a new video card. Install

And OE6 works perfectly fine in Windows XP. What's wrong with that?

Anyone who thinks that Vista is an improvement over XP *HAS* been

brainwashed by Microsoft.

Don't forget to compact your messages and don't ever let a .dbx file get

larger than 200 MB. Giggle. You should at least use a newsreader that

still has support like Thunderbird.

Uhm. No. I stuck with a proven XP installation.

Seat of the pants feel on dual boot XP Pro/Vista Ultimate system.

Core 2 Duo 1.83Ghz, 2GB (dual channel enabled&functioning)/512MB PCI-e

Video/250GB SATA for Vista, 150GB EIDE for XP.

I disable special effects and indexing in both and use classic menus.

XP Wins hands down in everyday use. I don't need a benchmark to tell me when

I am waiting too long.
