MonthOLDpickle Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 As I said in my introductory topic I run windows 2008 32 bit. Its set up as a domain controller that has users connect to Access Files (Constant modifying) which is File Sharing. Also a Printer Server/Sharing. Also controls the DNS and DCHP. Its been 5 months and server is strong. Now I need a way for users to connect outside of the domain. Like dial in and use their credentials. They need to be able to do what they normally do while at work. I will be providing software for home use. Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted August 29, 2009 FPCH Admin Posted August 29, 2009 Add the VPN and terminal services rolls. Your users will then be able to do what you need. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
MonthOLDpickle Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 Okay..I am really new at this. Surprisingly I got the system up and working. I see Terminal Services in the roles, but what do I do after that? And I am guessing the vpn server side is from VPN itself and not built into the server. Quote

MonthOLDpickle Posted September 5, 2009 Author Posted September 5, 2009 Just confirming that you have installed the Network policy and Access Services service from the server managment console? I think not. Not currently near the area of work..so can't really say for sure. But 99% sure that I don't. Quote
