petrovicslaszlo Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 HI! I have got an Ati Radeon Video Card (X1600pro). A want to use Server 2008. But after I install the OS, and I install the ati display driver (VISTA 32bit) I can't increase the screen resolution up to 1024*768. If I don't install the ATI driver I can increase the screen resolution but the screen refressh is only 60 Hz (I've got an old CRT monitor). Can anyone help me? Thanks. Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted July 11, 2009 FPCH Admin Posted July 11, 2009 I've got that same card in one of my servers and I didn't have to install any drivers. I let windows update install the drivers for me. I get all screen resolutions that my monitor supports. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
Fremlin Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 I've got the same problem. After installation of Catalyst drivers (for Vista) my system does nothing. I mean I can find ATI folder in menu start but no ati driver is installed! I can't even change it by myself. Anyone knows what to do? It's quite weird... Quote
petrovicslaszlo Posted July 11, 2009 Author Posted July 11, 2009 Yes, If I don't install the driver I can change to screen resolution, but the screen refresh is very bad. Quote
