When I download a program from the internet it says it will go to the

Temporary Folder. I reach this folder by going to C drive\Program

Files\Temporary Folder.

This folder never contains the program. I do a search and it does not

uncover the program. I can not find this program. Any thoughts, other than

I'm crazy? James

Why not choose where to save things when you start to download them and/or

change the default save location to one you know about.

That apparently isn't the path to the Temp folder. Do a search for the

downloaded file, by day it was downloaded, if you don't know the name of

any of the files you downloaded.

Your temp folder may contain 10,000 files or even more. Make a separate

folder on your HDD just for downloads, and direct all your downloads

from the Internet to that folder. One can set the download folder in

most WWW browsers. Personally, I use Firefox, and have told it to

download all files to C:\A
