I have XP Pro in C:\

I've just installed Vista Home Premium in D:\ (a different hard drive)

From within XP, I created a 490,000 .dat files and settings backup of XP,

now I need to transfer it to Vista.

Has anyone accomplish this yet??

What are you trying to accomplish?

Same computer, different hard drive???

When you install Vista on a different hard drive, but on the same computer,

it makes transferring settings harder.
