Added a second drive

I just installed Server 2008 standard and then I added a second SATA drive. It shows up in Disk Management as Disk 1 (Logical Drive), but when I click on it, I get D:\is not accessible

 

Access is Denied

 

What is the problem, help

Can you format the new drive in computer manager?

 

The only time I've ever seen that error is when the drive was formatted on another box and then added to the server. I could format it however.
