With VIsta, cannot view photo thumbnails in email

I have a new computer with Vista. And ever since receiving it, I can't view

any photos in my email unless I download each one. I USED to be able to see

what photos I was receiving. Now, nothing. Works fine on my XP computer. I

tried checking Internet Options to be certain the "DISPLAY PHOTOS" was

checked. It was.
