I have installed Longhorn server on drive "d" dual booting with Vista,

eventually reformated this drive and installed Longhorn on a second

computer. How do I remove the original loader from the Vista (offers choice

Vista-Longhorn) Thanks in advance FJV

Hi,

Run msconfig from the start prompt, check the boot tab to see if there is a

line for Longhorn that you can simply click on and select "remove".

Otherwise, you'll need to run bcdedit from an elevated command prompt (right

click cmd and use the 'run as administrator' option). Run "bcdedit /enum"

and check the identifier for the longhorn install, then "bcdedit /delete

<id>" to remove it.
