I have Windows Vista Home Premium. Nowadays, when I press the sleep button in the start menu, it does not go to sleep, rather it locks the computer. What is happening?

Thanks for helping!

the buttons are Power & Lock

You can change what the buttons do..

Start - Control Panel - Power Options

on the left

"Choose what the power buttons do"
