Didn't. If you really believe that B.S. then you have nothing to worry

about - you're acting like a scared rabbitt.

What it shows is that the customer wanted windows in the first place and

went for Mandriva because they couldn't afford windows.

Once windows was made available the customer jumped at the opportunity.

Now you can say giving windows away is bad but remember that Linux is also

free.

No. If you look at the articles the Nigerian gov't

stepped in and said rhey wanted Mandriva.

It was MS trying to make a deal with the supplier

for $400,000 for the supplier to dump Mandriva.

Nigeria wanted Win on some and Linux on others so

thewy could decide for themselves which would suit

them better.

MS is even scared for others to test Linux. If

Linux was so bad MS would wait for linux to fail a

test like this.

Very Unethical on MS's part.

Linux users don't understand ethics.

The biggest use of Linux desktops is pirating software, movies, and music.

That's where any increase in use is from dolt.

You must know this.

I missed that apparently, how many milliseconds did it last for?

Actually there's nothing wrong with a monopoly per-se, the problem as

always comes from abuse of that position.

I mean define monopoly, the oil companies are independent on paper but

all charge about the same for oil products, funeral directors are

independent, but go buy yourself a funeral and they all cost about the

same, and that really is what you might call a "Captive Audience".

Since the majority of Linux Is Freely given under

GPL. How can it be pirated?

The only ones complaining about pirating of their

software is MS. Linux users don't want MS

products. So why would they be the pirates? Its

Windows users that do the pirating.

I entirely agree although I don't think it's always deliberate or

knowingly, it is a matter of "Perception". (Should add here that I do

not refer to Mike personally - I mean this in general).

It is near impossible to follow any EULA to the letter, rather like

trying to follow the Bible or Quran to the letter, instead it gets

broken down into the parable that fits a situation best at that given time.

I am darned sure that MS "Could" make a legal case against me or any

other MVP / MSDN / Technet member any time they wanted, there is certain

to be "Something" I did that broke some rule or other. I don't know

because I didn't do it deliberately, and a lot of people don't, because

one damned Lawyer will interpret some part of it differently.

A more important question, instead of throwing legal chapter and verse

around is "Was harm done or intended", the law USED to be based on

intent more than anything else and not or raising Lawyer's salaries :)

My, what a broad and totally ill informed generalization. Do you always

think this way?

Windows users download pirated software, movies and music much more than

Linux users. eMule ring a bell? Napster? Kazaa? All Windows products,

used by Windows users to steal.

And for you to say that Linux users use Linux to download pirated

software only reveals how ill informed you really are.

The OS does not determine who will and who will not download pirated

software, movies and music. The person using the computer does. Your

bias and prejudice towards Linux users is very revealing, though.

I am not familiar with any of those programs.

I have heard Kazaa will put tons of trash on your PC

I have heard of Napster, a program for teenagers, which I believe got in

trouble and sells songs now.

No idea what eMule is.

What should I Google ?

I have no need to use or be aware of those things.

eMule...my guess is it takes one to Hillary's website.

That's true. I was just pointing it out to him because he (and some

others) seem to not even notice their double standard.

The topic is you Frank. Any "adult" that constantly refers to others

as mr pig or any of the other always juvenile stunts you try to do and

accuses people of being drunk or a liar doesn't have all his marbles.
