alqin Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 Hello, I installed windows server 2008 exclusively to develop a website on localhost. I have an internet connection (PPPoE), that works just fine, but i don't want to use it when I'm developing my website (it keeps my focus on the project rather then surfing the internet). If i do not connect to a network every time i start firefox it asks for a connection to a network and if I click cancel it pops up again. If I put firefox offline I can't navigate not even in localhost. Setting up a fake connection and let it connect in the background doesn't work either, after a few tries it pops up a diolog that there is a problem with my network connections. It may be strange but I just want to not be connected to the internet when I'm working on my project. Thanks. Quote
FPCH Admin AWS Posted May 1, 2009 FPCH Admin Posted May 1, 2009 Have you tried disabling the adapter? That would be the only thing I can think of to do what you want. Quote Off Topic Forum - Unlike the Rest
