Well, tried the newest SB XiFi drivers from Symantec, still no supported

hardware detected. Removed all Vista Drivers for the card and everything. I

guess on my Desktop I am going to give up on Vista. Have tried numerous

suggestions but still no go on it. Makes no sense to me. Even went o Dell's

site to see if they had something since Vista is supported on my system,

still nothing.

Grumble, any other ideas?

Creative SoundBlaster drivers from Symantec?

Why not from Creative?

I'm running SB XiFi on Vista Ultimate 64bit without any problems.

If you want EAX effects on older DirectSound games then you have to install

Creative Alchemy which then converts DirectSound to OpenAl which Vista uses.
