Well I believe now that explorer 7 does not function properly and opera is

much better in (XP) but has anyone tried opera in Vista instead of explorer

which keeps on crashing and not responding all the time. I am using opera on

another PC which has Xp and it way much faster and stable but I just got a

new laptop with vista home and wanted to consider any feedbacks.

I have been using Opera 9.21 with Vista Ultimate for several months now and

have encountered no problems.

Give it a try.

EmArA,

I have been using Windows Vista Ultimate for over three months. I regularly

use IE7, Opera 9.2, TheWorld, Netscape 9.0b1, Firefox 2.0.0.4, and Avant

11.9 build 12. All work without a glitch. Even Apple's Safari 3.0.2 (BETA)

has now become stable!

I have Vista Home Premium + Opera 9.21 and Opera sometimes does crash.

At times it crashes daily, but then again there have been weeks without

any problems. Hard to say what causes it all, but Vista's logs point to

ntdll.dll. I think Opera doesn't officially support Vista.
