I turned my computer off and broght it back up and now for some reason I

have to have a password to log on as owner. I never set a password on my

computer to log in. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Is this XP Pro or Home? Have you tried just leaving the password blank,

and pressing enter?

 

If that doesn't work, try booting in Safe Mode, and log in as Administrator

(In XP Home, you can only get to this account in Safe Mode). Leave the

password field blank.

 

Once you're in, go to Control Panel, Users, and remove or reset the password

for your account. Now, log out and reboot and try your account again.
