event 3003 evntagnt in Windows 2008

I constantly get event 3003 evntagnt erros on my Windows Server 2008 machine as shown in the following link

The SNMP Event Log Extension Agent does not initialize correctly on a computer that is running Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 or Windows Server 2008

 

there's also a fix when you follow that link, but what my question is and i can't find it anywhere is why isn't this fix in the windows updates???

Sometimes the fix is released before they get to Windows Update. Maybe that is the case with this one.

i don't think that, beacause this fix is from april 2008

 

and the error i get only appears when i boot the machine
