Oh yea, you will have about 45 years to "adapt" or get left behind.

Microsoft isn't going broke within our lifetimes. Alias wants to believe

that his beloved Ubuntu will gain enough market share to uproot MS. Within

the next 5 years, Linux will gain about 3%.

Yea, right. Microsoft doesn't even flinch when they hear about Open Source

software. It is just a speck of dust on their shirt. You keep preaching

and the followers will come. Be prepared to accept another 15 users over

the next 3 years!!!!!

Yeah, right, that's why they offered people who are buying a ASUS laptop

with Linux Vista for 40 wimpy US dollars. Pull the other one, chum, it

has bells on it.

I can see you aren't informed. When you are, get back to me. You might

want to look into how MS bribed the Nigerian authorities to accept

Windows instead of Linux for starters.

Gosh, can you tell us what the stock prices will be in 45 years? How

about the commodities market? If your crystal ball works so well, how

come you're not richer than Gates?

1. Frank thinks that monkeys can worry about the competition.

2. Frank thinks that an operating system is a disease that can infect

I think it was the other way around. Some big shot at Microsoft got this

letter from a Nigerian guy asking him to help get $40,000,000 out of the

country, and in exchange, he would pay him $2,000,000!

Not at all. The winner in this deal will be the kids. They won't have to

work with Linux and will get a real OS instead. Maybe MS was "skirting" the

law, but it doesn't look like they broke it, but time will tell. The

important thing is that the kids won't have to fight with Linux, and that is

the best thing. Remember, we need to put the kids first.

Then the answer is simple, do not buy if you are unwilling to do a

little homework.

These prices do not seem as high as you suggest:
