Vista start menu, shortcuts & software

Got the new Vista..

What on earth is going on with the menus... all that clicking.. its

like using Windows 95 again!

When I put a shortct of Documents in the Start menu, it opens, but

when I click on a file.. it just says 'The Paramiter is not correct'.

However one folder in Documents will work ok.

But if I drag Documents into Start menu directly, I can't open files

in the Documents folder, unless I open the folder and open them one by

one... augh!

I'm thinking of using third party software that's designed to change

the Start menu, but would prefer not to..

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Also.. can anyone work out how to drag and drop in Favorites..

Thanks
