Windows 8′s new interface has some huge benefits once you get used to it, but it does away with a lot of tried and tested favorites like easy access to the Windows  Startup folder.  I couldn’t find an easy way to do, so I thought I’d share the best way I’ve found to access the Windows 8 startup folder.

How To Access The Windows 8 Startup Folder

  1. Press the Windows and R keys at the same time to launch the run window
  2. Enter ‘ %AppData%‘ and hit return
  3. Navigate to C:UsersAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsStart MenuProgramsStartup to add/remove items from your startup folder
  4. Optional: To access your windows 8 startup folder quickly, rightclick on the startup folder and select ‘Pin to Start’ to add the startup folder to the Windows homescreen

If you have a quicker method, then please share it in the comments below.
